Seven Excellent Golf Courses and Practice Areas

The golf instruction takes place in a scenic and secure setting on Hilton Head Island. The Academy is located at Palmetto Hall Golf Club, a 36 hole facility, located within Palmetto Hall Plantation. These two courses are known for its Low Country beauty and its wide variety of shot making requirements. Palmetto Hall Golf Club is located just around the corner from the Campus.
Students who attend the Academy have access to play all 7 courses the Heritage Golf Group own and manage throughout Hilton Head Island. These courses are:

Port Royal Golf Club's Planter's Row
Port Royal Golf Club's Robber's Row

 A C C O M M O D A T I O N
The JPGA have a student house at Mitchelville Golf Cottages consisting of several, 4 bedroom 4 ½ bath modern houses located in its own gated community with living room, kitchen, WiFi and TV cable connectios, and air conditioning. Experience the low country feel and southern charm with beautiful live oaks draped with spanish moss. Students can walk to the beach and to the park, which includes soccer, baseball and basketball. The campus is also a bike ride away from shopping, dining, entertainment and the golf Academy

The students are responsible for making their beds daily, washing their linens, towels and personal clothes on a weekly basis, keeping personal items neatly stored and the kitchen clean. Rooms are inspected daily by the Resident Chaperone(s) and routinely by the Director of Students.

O T H E R    A C T I V I T I E S
Apart from the activities related to our Golf Camps, such as Playing Golf and English classes for the non english speaking students, there are many other activities for the students on the island or within the Camp
After playing golf, students will retreat back to the campus to shower and change before heading out with the activity director to participate in nightly activities. Activities include: Beach, Volleyball, Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Bicycling, and the Firework Show in Shelter Cove.
There are also other activities and events available, although these aren’t free and need to be paid for by the students who wish to participate, such as Boating, Movies, Bowling, Shopping, Restaurants, and Fishing.
During the weekends there will be excursions to places of interest.

S T U D E N T S   H A N D B O O K
The Student Handbook is distributed to students upon arrival. The content of the handbook, which includes academic policies and procedures, boarding rules and regulations and the student code of conduct, is explained to parents and students at registration. Each student is responsible for reading and understanding the contents of the handbook and must sign an agreement to abide by the handbook.
The Campus guidelines are based on discipline and compliance of the rules for all the students, mutual respect and good relationship between the students, who can count on the help of our monitors.

   The Director of Students and Staff provide counseling, transportation and supervisory services.
•    Students’ curfew is 9:00pm on week nights with lights out by 11:00pm. Weekend lights out is midnight. This is enforced with nightly bed checks conducted by the Resident Chaperone(s).
•     Emergency medical assistance is available to students on a 24-hour basis by the Island Security who are trained in CPR and emergency first aid. Hospitals, walk-in clinics and specialists are all located within a mile of the golf school and student residences. Doctor visits are scheduled, as needed, and in consultation with parents.
•  Meals are prepared daily on property, our Resident Chaperones provide meals for the students on a daily basis. Students are provided a weekly menu for dinner.
